The resort encompasses over 180 units ranging from 1 to 6 bedrooms for guests to relax in during their stay. The Pool Maintenance Technician will assist the Pool Maintenance Lead in servicing the various pools, hot tubs, and spas within the rental program. They will make sure the water is clean and safe for guests at designated hours. They will also service and maintain swimming pools, spas, and hot tubs on the resort premises. Additionally, maintain the pool area in a clean, orderly fashion while assuring all pool safety rules and regulations are enforced.
Pool Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Tests water chemistry in pool, using Taylor test kit, adjusting chemicals where necessary, maintains all chemicals within state guidelines
- Cleans pool filters according to prescribed procedures
- Performs maintenance on all pool bathroom fixtures
- Cleans pool, pool decks, furniture, pump areas, bathrooms and pool tile
- Deep cleans pool decks and Vac-Pac areas
- Delivers chemicals and other supplies to pools
- Leaves work area in clean and safe condition
- Other duties as assigned
Pool Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Must be able to communicate effectively in a group setting
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs. or 100 lbs. with assistance
- Certified Pool Operator Certification is a plus
- Must have weekend availability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
